sam ubhi costume collection is hand made from brass, bronze and base metals, married with glass and semi-precious beads.
Base metal is a soft metal with a thick coating of gold or silver plating.
At sam ubhi we use 22ct gold plating.
To maintain the plating, care should be taken to avoid any contact with water or any alcohol based products, i.e. Perfumes, creams, hairsprays, suntan lotions etc.
Avoid keeping jewellery in the bathroom, as damp conditions will also tarnish jewellery rapidly.
Polishing clothes should not be used on any item that has been plated.
sam ubhi London collection is hand made using sterling silver, with precious & semi – precious stones and beads.
Sterling silver can be cleaned using silver dip, but care should be taken not to put horn, bone, pearls, coral, & turquoise into the cleaner.
